Novature was born out of a desire to create “new age”, bespoke quality homes that can be easily built and transported to sites across New Zealand!
Greg, Brent & Hayden, joint directors of Novature collectively possess in excess of 100 years building experience. Their vast building and business knowledge has seen them develop government infrastructure projects, large scale community housing, hospitals and schools in the south pacific. Coupled with building quality boutique homes right here in the Franklin district, you have three experienced business minded “old school” builders with integrity at the helm of Novature.
With many tiny home / transportable builds, often simplicity in design is targeted and attention to detail lacks in certain areas. At Novature, we pride ourselves in quality living and aim to deliver a higher end transportable home to our customer built in compliance with the NZ building code. Our buildings are designed by our established and accomplished inhouse architects and built by Novature’s skilled building team. If needed, our proven designs can be customised to meet your exact requirements.
Dean (Production Manager) aims to ensure that planning, through to building and finally installing on your section, you are provided with excellent communication and are involved where possible to ensure that there is full transparency in the process. Our team of qualified builders work closely with Dean and the Directors to ensure that a project delivery timeline is achieved.
Our transportable homes are built in a controlled factory environment in Pukekohe enabling us to ensure quicker supply times as well as guaranteeing that the highest quality and standards are maintained.
With NZ house & land packages out of reach for a lot of Kiwis, a Novature home is unrivalled in this competitive space when it comes to delivering a high-quality economical dwelling when compared to a traditional conventional house build.
Our transportable buildings are perfect for on-farm staff, office space, rental opportunities or a scalable family home. Unlike many of our competitors we are open to customisations. Because we are builders, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Confirmation in production schedule and to allow for lead times required for ordering materials. Final payment is due 14 days before delivery to your site.
Approximately 2.5 months depending on the production schedules.
Homes are built by a licensed building practitioner (licensed builder) to a healthy home standard. A 10 year warranty can also be available for an extra cost.
No, however, we offer a professional team to truck and relocate your home to your site for a reasonable cost.
The wastewater gets pumped through a macerating pump up to 80m to either a septic tank or existing gulley trap. If no sewage system is available, a composting toilet can be installed. Electrical connects via a 32amp caravan plug to a power supply on site, we do have complete off grid solar power systems available. Water supply is from a normal hose connection point provided from either a water tank with pump or hose from existing source. Hot water is through an LPG gas califont which a gas bottle is required for.
There are over 7 standard design options which you can alter to your own personal requirements. These could involve extra costs which need to be paid at the time before the variation work starts.
Yes you can - however any variations may involve extra costs.
Yes, we can offer any other site works like decking & verandahs or these can also be provided in a kitset form.
Our homes require a fairly level site with compacted basecoarse to be located on, we can offer to do the site works e.g. site cuts & driveways if necessary. We offer a site inspection service at minimal cost to assess your site and services available.
Yes the homes NZ standard ceiling, floor and wall insulation, and double glazing window joinery.
If you meet our finance provider terms, finance can be arranged.
We currently don't have rental options available but plan to offer this in the future. Please visit our site again for updates.
You are welcome to visit our factory to inspect the quality of our display homes and view our building practices in the multiple homes that we continuously have in various stages of development.
